The War Within are a band from Wellington, New Zealand. Formed in March 2004 The War Within has played many live shows around wellington over the last three years. The War Within has been influenced by many artists but is often compared to Thrice, Iron Maiden and Metallica and early Shihad. The sound of the band is certainly Post hardcore with elements of emo rock and Eighties metal thrown in.
